Wesche Jewelers' Viera Store Now Open
Melbourne, Florida, September 24th, 2006- Wesche Jewelers' new home is open for business. The family owned business relocated to the new building entirely, leaving its current location at Post Commons Shopping Center. The 15,000 square foot store is located on North Wickham Road adjacent to Space Coast Credit Union's Headquarters. A Grand Opening event is planned for September 30 at 10am.
The Mediterranean inspired store was designed to be warm and inviting. "I knew from the beginning I wanted it to have the feel of a resort-style hotel, where people can come in and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere when looking at jewelry," said Owner, Holly Wesche Conn. Lush landscaping and great attention to architectural details should give visitors an atmosphere not currently found anywhere else in Brevard County. The size of the building makes it one of the largest jewelry stores in Florida. Unique features of this establishment will include; more than double the merchandise than it's previous location, over 35 designers (including exclusive collections of Mikimoto Pearls, Kwiat diamond jewelry, and Bellarri colored gemstone jewelry), Brevard's largest wedding center, one of only three Swarovski Crystal showrooms in the country, a jungle themed playroom for children, a resort inspired lobby including full beverage bar and fireplace, state-of-the-art security, and a 1,200 square foot media room for hosting community events.
Melbourne Architect Dave Nagrodsky designed this project and feels strongly that it's something special. "We have definitely gone top shelf on this building. From the real stone exterior from Peru, to the quality of the precast elements, it's a testament to the fact that we're going for a unique building. This should be a positive thing for Wickham Road and the Viera community because there simply isn't anything like this in Brevard County," Nagrodsky explains.
